Private Sports Training and Behavior Solutions

The faster pace of some group classes might mean that you and your dog may struggle to keep up, or maybe there are just not any sports classes in your area that fit your schedule.  In addition, many group classes will not be able to accommodate dogs who might need a little extra behavior help.  This is where we come in!  The curriculum is completely tailored to meet your needs, and all training is done at your pace.  

Pricing - $45 for 30 minutes, $80 for 60 minutes

Locations - The best location for your session will vary depending on what we will be working on

Topics covered in Private Lessons are vast and varied, but can include: 

• Agility, nose work, and rally foundations and advanced skills
• Confidence building and behavior modification for the performance dog (including help for dogs in need of space!)
• Trial preparation
  
• Tricks
  
• CGC/therapy test preparation

Our ultimate goal is to ensure the safety and happiness of your dog and family.  We believe in practical and humane training (Least Intrusive, Minimally Aversive - LIMA) which utilizes clear, consistent communication via a clicker/marker and rewards that your dog enjoys (food, toy, and life rewards).  More complicated behaviors are broken down into easy to understand parts that can be effectively learned by both dog and owner.  We can help you to set realistic goals for yourself and your dog and give you the tools to continue training even when sessions with us are over.  Problems are not just covered up, but we focus on the root of the issue and help you to form a positive, trusting relationship with your dog, setting you up for success within your chosen dog sport.
